Honda Recalls 105,000 Cars to Allow for Brake Modification
Honda will be recalling 104,500 cars in 49 countries around the world to repair certain brake issues, of which 70,000 were made and sold in Japan.
According to Honda, the company is recalling the vehicles because some of vehicles’ power brake booster parts weren’t made precisely and may malfunction or eventual decrease the brakes braking power, leading to a potential car accident.
The Japanese-based company said it had been aware of the problem by closely following warranty claims. Honda, however, claims that it doesn’t know of any accidents or injuries that has arisen from their vehicles’ malfunction.
Around 13,000 RSX compacts and 5,000 S2000s will be recalled in the United States.
