ROUNDUP® LAWSUITS

Monsanto, and its parent company Bayer, is facing thousands of lawsuits that claim its weed killer, Roundup®, caused individuals to develop cancer. It is alleged that the company failed to provide adequate warnings about the health risks associated with using its product. The main ingredient in Roundup® is an herbicide called glyphosate. Monsanto claims it is safe and has been using the substance in its weed killer for decades. However, in 2015, the World Health Organization reported that glyphosate is a possible carcinogen. Additionally, researchers at U.C.
