Vic Feazell Recognized in Guinness Book of World Records

Vic Feazell, former District Attorney of Waco, McLennan County, Texas, is recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records for winning the largest libel award, amounting to $58 million.

Feazell received the award on April 20, 1991 and settled with the defendants, a television station based in Dallas, Texas and one of its reporters, in June of 1991. In the lawsuit, Feazell claimed that the two parties had been libelous, causing undue and extreme harm to his reputation.

The Guinness Book of World Records, published on a yearly basis, records the most current record holders in human achievements and extremes.
