Cooking Safety for Older Adults

Older adults are disproportionately at a higher risk of sustaining burn injuries, in part due to diminished physical, visual, and hearing senses that may slow necessary quick reactions.

Preventing a burn injury is always the better the trauma and pain of treating one. In honor of National Burn Awareness Week, we wanted to provide some safety tips for older adults in the kitchen:cooking safety tips

We hope that providing these tips will help others take the precautions needed to ensure their own safety or the safety of their older family members.

If you or a loved one sustained burn injuries due to the negligence of another person, reach out to the Law Offices of Vic Feazell. We will work hard to identify liable parties so you receive the compensation you deserve.
